The Yukon Aboriginal Sport Circle hosts an annual Yukon Championships in Arctic Sports and Dene Games. 

The Championships are usually held in the early fall, when the snow has arrived. All Yukon communities are encouraged to bring their athletes to this event.

The Yukon Championships were held this past year on February 19 and 20th, 2011 at Elijah Smith School.

The first inter-school championship will help on 12th April 2013 at the Canad Games Center. this competition will be open from K to 12.
